Patient Coordinator/Front Desk Receptionist - Full-Time

Are you someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys making a difference in people's lives? Chicago Ridge Medical Imaging is expanding, and we’re looking for a Patient Coordinator/Front Desk Receptionist to join our dedicated team.
At Chicago Ridge Medical Imaging, we hold ourselves to the highest standard of patient care and customer service. If you’re an empathetic, personable, and organized individual, we want you to help us create a welcoming experience for every patient.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Greet and register patients with a friendly, compassionate approach
  • Accurately collect necessary documents and enter data into our EMR system
  • Schedule patients for a range of exams, including MRI, CT, X-ray, Ultrasound, EKG, and Dexascan
  • Provide exam preparation instructions and ensure patients are comfortable
  • Run insurance eligibility checks and collect payments
  • Act as a liaison between physicians and patients, ensuring smooth communication
  • Assist with administrative duties including faxing reports and managing medical records
  • Verify insurance coverage for radiology exams and confirm orders/referrals are complete
  • Support office and billing managers with additional tasks as needed
Schedule:
  • Monday, Tuesday, and Friday: 9AM - 530 PM
  • Fridays Off
  • Thursday: 10 AM - 6PM
  • Saturday 745 AM - 1:30 PM
What We’re Looking For:
  • 2+ years of healthcare experience
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology
  • Previous experience in radiology or medical imaging is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, especially over the phone
  • Ability to multi-task effectively in a busy, high-volume environment
  • Insurance knowledge and experience with EMR systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, as well as basic email/fax systems
