Amity Dentistry, a growing private dental practice in Pineville, NC, is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Front Desk / Patient Coordinator to join our close-knit team. We pride ourselves on providing a warm, welcoming environment where both patients and staff feel like family.

In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for our patients and play a key part in ensuring their visit is smooth and stress-free. We’re looking for someone with exceptional customer service skills, strong organizational abilities, and a proactive attitude. You’ll handle everything from phone calls and scheduling to insurance verification and billing support—all while helping create a positive experience for every patient.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2+ years of dental front office experience (required)
  • Proficiency in Open Dental and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong knowledge of dental insurance, billing, SC/NC Medicaid, and treatment coordination
  • Excellent phone etiquette, multitasking, and stress management skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) a plus
  • Dental Assistants interested in transitioning to front office roles are encouraged to apply
  • Managerial experience or leadership skills are a plus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and check-in patients, verify insurance, and provide benefit breakdowns
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, manage a multi-line phone system
  • File and follow up on insurance claims; post insurance payments
  • Present treatment plans and coordinate referrals
