About Us
Excel Medical Imaging is an independent, physician- and family-owned radiology practice proudly serving the New Port Richey community since 2001. We are the region’s only full-service, freestanding diagnostic and interventional imaging center — now also a designated Graduate Medical Education (GME) training site, offering a dynamic and collaborative learning environment for residents and clinical learners.
Our team provides cutting-edge imaging with personalized attention, free from hospital bureaucracy. Our motto, “We build our image… one patient at a time,” reflects our commitment to high-touch care, continuous improvement, and clinical excellence.
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled, detail-oriented X-ray Technologist who is excited by a fast-paced, high-tech, and education-focused clinical setting. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who enjoy mentoring, teamwork, and continual growth alongside residents and visiting trainees.
Responsibilities
  • Perform X-ray imaging procedures following established protocols and safety guidelines
  • Perform C-arm support and IR circulator functions in our IR suite.
  • Provide a calm, reassuring experience for patients
  • Collaborate directly with radiologists and clinical educators
  • Maintain clear documentation and image quality standards
  • Stay current with evolving imaging techniques and compliance protocols

Qualifications
  • BXMO or ARRT-certified in Radiography
  • Current Florida Radiologic Technologist license
  • BLS certified, ACLS certified (ACLS training provided on-site)
  • 1+ year of X-ray experience preferred
  • Strong communication, technical, and patient care skills
  • Commitment to lifelong learning and teaching opportunities
