Addison Group is partnering with a well-established specialty medical practice seeking a Bilingual Medical Receptionist to join their front office team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working directly with patients, thrives in a team-oriented environment, and is looking for long-term stability in a healthcare setting.

Job Description:

The Bilingual Medical Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while supporting daily front office operations. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a busy medical office environment. The ideal candidate will have prior medical reception experience, be comfortable discussing insurance benefits and patient financial responsibility, and be fluent in both English and Spanish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Check patients in and out for office visits, testing appointments, and follow-up care.
  • Answer incoming phone calls, route messages, and assist callers with scheduling needs.
  • Schedule and reschedule appointments accurately.
  • Process referrals and coordinate patient documentation.
  • Collect co-pays, balances, and other patient payments while explaining financial responsibilities.
  • Update and maintain patient demographic and insurance information within the EMR system.
  • Assist with general front office administrative duties as assigned.
  • Work collaboratively with the front office team and supervisor to ensure efficient patient flow.

Requirements:

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
  • 1–2 years of medical receptionist or healthcare front office experience required.
  • Knowledge of insurance benefits, eligibility, co-pays, deductibles, and patient responsibility preferred.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced medical office.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Comfortable working closely with patients, providers, and staff.

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
    • Occasional Saturday rotation after introductory period (8:30 AM – 12:30 PM)
