The Americano is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Pastry Cook to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in precision, creativity, and consistency, with a strong foundation in pastry techniques.
Responsibilities:
  • Execute daily production of desserts, breads, and pastry items according to recipes and standards.
  • Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation for all plated desserts and pastry menu items.
  • Assist in prep for special events, features, and seasonal menu changes.
  • Uphold cleanliness and organization in the pastry kitchen and storage areas.
  • Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with the pastry team and BOH staff to ensure smooth service.
Qualifications:
  • Previous pastry or baking experience preferred, but not required for the right candidate with a strong work ethic and desire to learn.
  • Knowledge of pastry fundamentals (doughs, custards, mousses, chocolate work, etc.) a plus.
  • Ability to follow precise recipes and standards with consistency.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
