A growing manufacturing company in Longview, TX is seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Document Administrator to support its Quality Assurance team. Position: Part-Time Document Administrator
Location: Longview, TX 75603
Schedule: Part-Time | 25–30 Hours per Week | Monday–Thursday
Pay: $20–$25/hour (DOE)
Potential Temp-to-Hire Opportunity
Position Overview
The Document Administrator will provide administrative and document control support to the Quality Assurance department by maintaining technical documentation, managing filing systems, processing records, and supporting quality-related compliance activities. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage both electronic and physical documentation in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and organize physical and electronic filing systems
  • Perform detailed data entry and document processing activities
  • Review, update, scan, file, and maintain technical and quality-related documentation
  • Assist with the creation, revision, and distribution of PDF manuals and manufacturing documentation
  • Maintain logs, reports, trackers, and quality records with a high level of accuracy
  • Support document retention and document control procedures
  • Assist with updating technical literature, service bulletins, and QA documentation
  • Compose and proofread memos, correspondence, and internal documentation
  • Answer incoming calls and emails and route inquiries appropriately
  • Support manufacturing and QA personnel with administrative and documentation needs
  • Ensure documents and forms are submitted accurately and within required timelines
  • Maintain MSDS/SDS sheets and other compliance-related documentation
Qualifications
  • Previous administrative, document control, or QA support experience preferred
  • Manufacturing or technical environment experience highly preferred
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Adobe Acrobat proficiency required
  • Strong data entry and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage detailed documentation with a high level of accuracy
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and follow established procedures
  • Understanding of technical or mechanical terminology is a plus
  • High attention to detail and strong visual accuracy required
