Job Description

Link Solutions Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Contracts Administrator to join our team in McLean, VA.

  • Must be able to work on-site in McLean, VA every Wednesday (see schedule section below)

The Contracts Administrator will support the company's contract administration function by assisting with contract awards, modifications, proposal submissions, compliance reporting, and contract record maintenance. This role will work closely with the Contracts Manager and cross-functional teams to ensure contractual compliance, support pricing activities, and maintain accurate records throughout the contract lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will possess experience supporting federal government contracts in a professional services environment and demonstrate proficiency with SharePoint, Microsoft Excel, and government contracting processes.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the administration of government contracts and subcontracts throughout the contract lifecycle, including contract award, execution, modification, and closeout activities.
  • Review and process contract documents, modifications, task orders, and other contractual correspondence.
  • Maintain contract files, records, and documentation to ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations.
  • Assist with proposal preparation and submission activities, including pricing support and contract-related documentation.
  • Monitor contract deliverables, reporting requirements, and submission deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal regulations, including FAR, DFARS, and company policies.
  • Generate reports and provide data analysis related to contracts, pricing, and business operations.
  • Support audits, contract reviews, and compliance assessments.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Human Resources, and Business Development personnel to facilitate contract performance and administration.
  • Assist with Deltek Costpoint reporting and contract setup activities.
  • Help develop and improve workflows, reporting tools, and process automation initiatives that support contract administration and operational efficiency.

Schedule & Work Arrangement:

Hourly Compensation Rate:

  • $50 to $65 per hour 
Qualifications
  • U.S. Citizen.
  • Minimum of three (3+) years of experience in government contract administration; additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience supporting federal government contracts within a professional services environment.
  • Knowledge of government subcontract administration practices.
  • Working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and government contracting regulations.
  • Proficiency in SharePoint, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Contracts Management, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting proposal development and contract pricing activities.
  • Experience with contract compliance reviews and audits.
  • Familiarity with process improvement, workflow automation, and reporting tools.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with Deltek Costpoint reporting and contract administration functions.
  • Professional certification such as CPCM, CFCM, or NCMA certification.
