What will you do:

Order Entry Specialist's job is to accurately capture and process customer orders, ensuring information is complete and data is entered correctly into a database. They track order status from configuration and engineering release to sales order creation.

Order entry is responsible for receiving and processing customer orders. Order entry job is to ensure that these orders are processed correctly and efficiently so that they can be fulfilled by the company that placed them.

Order entry may also be tasked with tracking down information about specific orders-this might include contacting internal customers to get additional details or verifying specifics of each order.

How you will do it:

Accurately input customer orders into our ordering system, ensuring all information is correct and up-to-date.

Respond to inquiries from customers regarding their orders (ECN or configuration) and ensure they are resolved in a timely manner.

Process orders in a timely (SAP) and efficient manner to meet customer delivery expectations.

Monitor order status throughout the scheduling process and work with Capacity and Master scheduler to have a proper setup.

Resolve any issues that arise with customer orders including changes, cancellations, or discrepancies.

Maintain accurate data entry records and ensure the order processing system is updated in real-time.

Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives to ensure maximum efficiency in the order entry process.

What are we looking for:

Required:

A bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial Engineer, business administration, computer science, or a certification in operator or vendor management, such as the APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or the APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP).

Proven experience as an order entry specialist or similar position with experience in customer service or related fields.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and order entry systems.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously.

Strong communication and customer service skills to build positive relationships with customers.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

Preferred:

Proficiency in SAP.

Proficiency in analytical and reporting tools (MS Excel, Tableau) is strongly desired.

Has demonstrated high level performance in current and previous positions.

A strong interest in process and quality improvement and the ability to provide leadership.

Ability to communicate effectively in verbal, written, and presentation skills.

Has demonstrated effective interpersonal skills and the ability to exercise influence without authority.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $59,700.00 - 89,500.00 USD Annual (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)
