Order Entry Coordinator
Freeport & Sarver, PA | Full-Time | On-Site

Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and enjoy working in a manufacturing environment? Oberg Industries is looking for an Order Entry Coordinator who plays a vital role in ensuring customer orders are entered accurately and processed efficiently from start to finish.  This unique position supports operations at both our Freeport and Sarver, PA facilities, giving you the opportunity to work with multiple teams while developing a broad understanding of our manufacturing processes.

What You'll Do
  • Enter customer orders accurately into the ERP system.
  • Review customer purchase orders for pricing, terminology, and order accuracy.
  • Update orders based on engineering changes and internal department notes.
  • Send customer order acknowledgements via email or customer portals.
  • Create and maintain electronic and physical order files.
  • Route order documentation to the appropriate departments.
  • Maintain open and closed customer order records.
  • Serve as backup for invoice processing by preparing invoices and shipping documentation.
  • Process customer Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) as requested.
  • Implement Engineering Change Notice (ECN) updates as directed by Engineering.
  • Monitor and interpret order activity using Power BI reporting tools.
  • Maintain organized records and a clean work area.
  • Travel between the Freeport and Sarver facilities as needed to support daily operations.
  • Follow all company safety, security, quality, and employment policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Experience working with ERP systems is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Power BI reporting is a plus.
  • Must be able to travel between Oberg's Freeport and Sarver, PA facilities as business needs require.
  • Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment when entering manufacturing areas.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction and be able to comply with U.S. export regulations.

Work Environment
This is an on-site position supporting both the Freeport and Sarver, PA facilities. The role is primarily office-based but regularly requires walking through manufacturing departments and interacting with production personnel. The position involves extended periods of computer work and occasional movement between departments and company locations.
Physical Requirements
  • Sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
  • Frequently use a keyboard and computer.
  • Occasionally walk through manufacturing areas.
  • Travel between company facilities as needed.
  • Wear required PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety shoes, when entering production areas.
