Your Role
Joining Zip's growing Go-To-Market team, as a Marketing Development Representative, is a unique opportunity to grow your experience with lead and demand generation. Applicants should have a growth mindset and be excited to work collaboratively and strategically across both marketing and revenue organizations. You will learn how to take leads generated from webinars, events, and content syndication to create opportunities for our revenue team.
We're looking for a customer-focused, analytically-minded, adaptable, and self-driven individual with a desire to grow and advance their career in the revenue space. If you are proactive, customer and product-obsessed, have a try-iterate-learn mentality, and a true passion to evangelize Zip's solution to its potential customers, we'd love to talk to you!
You Will
  • Own all marketing-sourced leads from various campaigns across all channels including digital, tradeshows, webinars, conferences, content syndication, etc
  • Work historic leads through nurture campaigns and sequences
  • Be a liaison between sales and marketing, providing feedback and recommendations where necessary
  • Become a product expert and build a point of view and approach to explaining how Zip helps potential customers with their needs
  • Be adaptable and flexible - as part of an early-stage, hyper-growth company, we are rapidly growing our processes and team
  • Make recommendations and execute different experiments and solutions for GTM processes
  • Acts as an educator and partner on Zip content, updates, and industry trends

Qualifications
  • Prior work or internship experience in a sales or marketing role
  • A consistent track record of meeting and exceeding goals
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Be a highly strategic thinker and problem solver with a solutions-first and adaptable mindset
  • Highly organized, collaborative, metrics-oriented, and goals driven
  • Ability to work from our downtown SF office 5 days per week with the option for flexibility pending performance

Nice to Haves
  • Experience with Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, and/or SalesNavigator
  • Tech experience or proven success in a very fast-paced environment
  • Interest in a career in sales or marketing

The OTE range for this role is $70,000-$75,000. The OTE for this position is determined based on a variety of job-related factors that may include location, relevant experience, education, or particular skills and expertise.
