  • Configure and continuously improve workflows, reporting structures, naming conventions, and controls to meet Legal, Finance, and business needs.
  • Proactively identify data integrity and process risks; implement corrective and preventative controls to maintain audit-ready contract records.
  • Own the Summize enhancement roadmap (in partnership with Legal and IT), including intake/prioritization of requests, testing, release planning, and post-launch measurement.

  • Own and manage the end-to-end copyright registration workflow, including intake, tracking, preparation, filing coordination, status monitoring, and record retention.
  • Coordinate with internal Legal, Production, Finance, and third-party vendors (if applicable) to ensure timely and accurate submission of copyright applications and supporting materials.
  • Maintain accurate, audit-ready records of registrations, filings, certificates, and related correspondence, ensuring alignment with contract rights data and delivery documentation.
  • Exercise independent judgment in identifying filing gaps, priority registrations, and remediation needs, escalating legal or timing issues as appropriate.
  • Develop and maintain standardized processes, trackers, and best practices for copyright filings to ensure consistency, compliance, and institutional knowledge preservation.
  • Respond to internal inquiries regarding copyright status, documentation, and historical filings, supporting licensing, enforcement, litigation, and distribution needs.

Legal Billing & Matter Management (Legal Tracker)
