Leasing Associate - Commercial Real Estate

Summary: Pyramid Management Group is seeking candidates looking to break into the world of commercial real estate dealmaking and retail leasing. Join our dynamic Leasing team and work alongside senior team members to shape the future of some of the top Shopping Centers in the Northeast. This developmental role will expose you to the behind the scenes of high-impact real estate deals while you work to develop your own deal pipeline. The team's mission is to bring together vibrant regional and national brands to develop unique shopping, dining, and entertainment destinations.

This is a revenue driving role ideal for relationship-oriented individuals who want to build a career in commercial real estate. You will be directly involved with sourcing tenants and negotiating deals. Experience in sales is not required - we're committed to teaching you everything you need to succeed. What matters most is your drive to learn, willingness to be challenged, and motivation to grow in a fast-paced environment. Leasing Associates typically advance to the Leasing Representative role in 6 – 18 months.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deal Support
    • Partner with Senior Leasing Representatives to drive the deal process from prospecting through completion.
    • Travel nationwide for prospecting trips to identify new and exciting concepts.
    • Attend tenant meetings to gain negotiation exposure and experience.
    • Assist with the analysis of deal terms and economics
    • Prepare proposals and marketing materials for active deals
  • Market Intelligence
    • Proactively identify and pursue new tenant opportunities for the portfolio and personal deal pipeline.
    • Track retail, restaurant, and entertainment trends to spot brands ready for expansion
    • Stay current on competitive properties and their tenant activity.
    • Develop strategic insights on prospective tenant's history, ownership, and financial position
    • Assist with creating market reports, deal presentation materials, and leasing strategies

Ideal Qualifications

  • Interest in commercial real estate, retail, leasing, or sales
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-moving, deal-driven environment
  • Comfortable networking and interacting with industry professionals
