Job description

What You'll Do:
As a National Leasing Specialist, you'll impact the success of the Coastal Ridge Real Estate portfolio, visiting a multitude of sites to drive leasing performance across the conventional housing portfolio. Executing excellent leasing behaviors and standards of practice, you are a lead-by-example leasing specialist. You will be responsible for providing support in the areas of leasing production and marketing for the assigned community.
Where You'll Work:
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in a variety of Coastal Ridge Real Estate conventional apartment communities across the United States, on a rolling basis. While the majority of assignments will be Columbus, OH based, this role may require up to 50% travel to other markets, pending business needs.
What You'll Own:
  • Participate in all aspects of the leasing process, including ensuring all leads are properly entered into Entrata, contacted, and followed up on; greeting prospects and providing tours; closing the sale; assisting prospects through the application and lease process, including ensuring the proper preparation and execution of the lease agreement and all screening procedures; monitoring and participating in the resident renewal process, and ensuring the clubhouse, model and all tour routes are maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness.
  • Drive individual and group leasing targets success for the community and proactively collaborate with the Senior National Leasing Specialist to work through both opportunities and threats.
  • Deep dive to strengthen both individual and team knowledge of the competitive landscape in the market through shopping competitors and keeping updated records of all offerings within the market.
  • Establish an in-depth understanding of the property including selling points of the site and frequent objections from prospects, site leasing trends, traffic patterns, and product availability.
  • Act as a full-time member of the on-site office team, providing support and assistance to all customer service efforts at the community.
  • Drive both prospect interest and resident retention through coordinating and participating in a variety of site marketing efforts and events.
  • Guide the leasing team in their leasing and marketing efforts, ensuring proper expectations are set and tools and resources needed for success are given.
  • Travel will be required up to 50% of the time
  • Other tasks as directed and assigned.

What You'll Bring:
  • High school degree or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Previous experience as a Leasing Manager or Assistant Property Manager required.
  • Previous experience leasing at multiple properties and multiple markets preferred.
  • Previous experience in both luxury conventional housing and student housing preferred.
  • Experience with Entrata is preferred.
  • We are considering candidates nationwide, with preference for those in the East, Midwest, or Southeast United States strongly preferred.
  • Must be Columbus, OH based, and be willing and able to travel up to 50% of the time.
