Job description

Leasing Maintenance and Fleet Operations Manager
The Truck Leasing Maintenance and Fleet Operations Manager oversees the portfolio of rental and leasing vehicles in operation as well as the administration of commercial truck lease and rental accounts. Key duties include ensuring revenue generation, maintaining high customer service standards, managing vehicle maintenance schedules, and overseeing fleet compliance.
Position Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain daily equipment yard check; equipment status and locations; as well as; lease and rental contracts, driver information, customer insurance certificates and equipment information in the system.
  • Maintain the lease company’s FMCSA, safety and daily vehicle inspection reports, all DOT records and accounts and all online equipment monitoring systems.
  • In-service all new lease and rental equipment and manage all leasing equipment service schedules, repairs, maintenance, road service and breakdowns.
  • Provide and set up lease customer subunit per contract requirements.
  • Monitor repair orders in service for all lease and rental repair requests, as well as rental customer owned equipment breakdown and repair orders.
  • Ensure timely payment of lease accounts and achieving revenue goals by processing all monthly invoices.
  • Attend annual national lease maintenance managers meeting.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 5 – 7 years of related experience managing commercial fleets and safety compliance expectations.
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record is a must. CDL PREFERRED
  • Ability to obtain a Class B CDL within 90 days of employment.
  • Strong understanding of dealerships business unit operations.
  • Technical knowledge of the vehicle; prior technician experience a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and an understanding the schedule will include evening calls.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
