Job description

Quartr is a software company serving the world of finance. Every day, leading companies and financial institutions worldwide use our products to research faster and understand deeper.
For too long, markets have been obsessed with numbers. Everyone has access to the same quantitative data, while qualitative insights - the words, the signals, the nuance - have remained mostly in the shadows. We make those insights accessible, searchable, and actionable.
Our products are used daily by some of the most sophisticated teams in finance and tech, including major hedge funds and Magnificent 7 companies, and over a million finance professionals have downloaded our mobile app.
We're backed by some of the smartest minds in our industry and growing fast at a global scale, and we're still at the very beginning of what we expect to be a multi-decade journey.
As an Inbound Sales Development Representative, you'll be a core growth engine for Quartr, responsible for turning interest in our products into a qualified pipeline for our Account Executives. This role is primarily focused on inbound lead qualification and follow-up, while also supporting marketing-driven initiatives and building lead lists for our outbound SDRs.
What you'll do
  • Respond to inbound leads from channels such as the website, marketing campaigns, events, and referrals
  • Qualify inbound prospects using established criteria (company fit, role, use case, timing, etc.)
  • Run short discovery conversations over the phone to understand prospect needs, challenges, and goals
  • Schedule and set up meetings for Account Executives with well-qualified prospects
  • Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns and sales-related initiatives, including providing feedback on lead quality and messaging
  • Support the outbound SDR team by building and enriching lead lists for key segments and named accounts
  • Run light outbound (email / LinkedIn, limited cold calling) to warm or high-intent targets tied to campaigns
  • Maintain clean, accurate CRM data for all activities, leads, and opportunities
  • Continuously learn about Quartr's products, our ideal customer profiles, industry trends, and the competitive landscape

Who you are
  • You have experience in a customer-facing role (sales, support, customer success, retail, or similar)
  • You have strong communication skills and the ability to hold clear, concise conversations with prospects
  • You're comfortable working an inbound queue with urgency and discipline (SLAs, follow-up cadences, etc.)
  • You have a process-oriented mindset and respect CRM hygiene and structured qualification approaches
  • You have analytical thinking and the ability to use data (conversion rates, activity metrics, funnel stages) to prioritize and improve
  • You have an ownership mentality and take responsibility for your pipeline and outcomes, not just activities
  • You're adaptable and open to new tools, processes, and ways of working
  • You're fluent in English, both written and verbal
  • Previous SDR / BDR / business development experience is a strong plus
  • Interest or experience in finance or capital markets is a big plus

What we offer
  • Do your life's work: The world's leading finance professionals use Quartr daily. We do fewer things better and hold a very high bar for quality.
  • Join the foundational team: We're still at the very beginning of a multi-decade journey. You'll have a big influence on product, culture, and how we win.
  • Real ownership: We believe in shared success. Every team member gets equity exposure, so we all benefit from the value we create.
  • Meritocracy over hierarchy: You'll join a culture where the best idea wins. We value clear thinking, leave ego at the door, and obsess over the details.
  • Office culture with flexibility: Join us in one of our offices. We value being together, while also offering the flexibility to work from home when needed.
  • Compensation & well-being: We offer competitive salaries, benefits, and a generous wellness allowance to support your physical and mental health.
