Job description

Title: Project Engineer
Location: El Portal, CA (Housing included)
Compensation: $80-85,000 base
Requirements: 2+ years Project Engineering experience, RFI/Submittal background, Able to work/stay on project site

We are looking for a motivated Project Engineer to support a heavy civil construction project. This role is ideal for someone with a couple of years of experience who enjoys both office and field work.

This position includes housing support and offers a base salary of $85,000.

What You’ll Do
  • Support daily construction activities and help solve problems in the field
  • Assist with planning and tracking project progress
  • Review project documents such as contracts, drawings, and schedules
  • Manage project paperwork (submittals, RFIs, change orders, invoices)
  • Work with the project team to develop work plans and ensure tasks are completed on time
  • Help with construction layout using basic surveying tools and AutoCAD
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and team members
What We’re Looking For
  • 2+ years of experience in construction (civil, structures, or similar)
