Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

The Human Resources Specialist managesdata integrity, regulatory compliance, and process efficiency.

This is a temporary position expected to last approximately 3-6 months, mainly supporting Compliance.

The Human Resources Specialist assists in the administration of human resources policies, procedures, and programs. Duties include maintaining and auditing team member records within HRIS systems to ensure data accuracy, report preparation, database administration, and employee communication. The Specialist serves as a resource person for management and team members on issues and problems related to a specific Human Resource function.

This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts, and demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and cooperation.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION:Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource management or related field preferred or equivalent experience

EXPERIENCE: Minimum 2-3 years' human resources experience required, with a strong background in Human Resources specialty area, such as HRIS or Compliance. Prior Human Resources experience within the health care environment is a plus. Position also requires well-developed interpersonal, written communication skills. Computer literacy required, particularly in Excel, SharePoint and Adobe

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS

Demonstrates the technical competencies as established on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Potential for exposure to the hazards and risk of the hospital environment, including exposure to infectious disease, hazardous substances, and potential injury.

This position reports to department leadership and may supervise incumbents as assigned.
