Job description

Job Title: HR Customer Service / Shared Services Advisor
Location: Pensacola, FL
Type: Contract - Multi-Year
Contractor Work Model: Hybrid - 3 days onsite
Overview
Our client is seeking a Shared Services Advisor to support employee inquiries and shared services operations in a high-volume environment. This role serves as a key point of contact for employees, providing guidance on HR-related matters including disability cases, case management, and system updates. This is a non-technical role focused on employee support, with training provided on internal systems including Oracle HCM.
Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance and support across shared services functions to resolve employee inquiries
  • Answer inbound and outbound calls to assist employees with HR-related questions
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees following approval of disability claims
  • Manage and respond to employee-submitted cases, including more complex inquiries
  • Review and update employee separations within Oracle HCM
  • Partner with vendors, contractors, and internal teams supporting disability payments
  • Contribute to process improvements and overall shared services efficiency
Requirements
  • Experience in HR support, shared services, or high-volume customer service environments
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage employee inquiries via phone and case management systems
  • Exposure to HR systems (Oracle HCM preferred; training provided)
  • Understanding of compliance and regulatory standards
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with vendors and internal teams
Preferred
  • Experience supporting disability or leave of absence cases
