SYNERGY HomeCare Barrington is seeking a highly motivated part-time Human Resources Hiring Specialist.


SYNERGY Homecare Barrington has been providing excellence in care for over 18 years to those that are no longer able to care for themselves.


This position manages high volume caregiver recruitment, compliance verification, on-boarding and caregiver retention.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Caregiver Recruitment: Source, screen, interview, and process applicants for CNA, HHA, and caregiver roles.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Perform background checks and maintain employee records according to Illinois Department of Public Health.

  • Onboarding & Training: Conduct orientations and track ongoing staff education requirements.

  • Employee Relations: Supports retention initiatives, resolves staff conflicts, and manages employee reviews.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2 to 5 years of HR or high-volume recruiting experience, preferably within non-medical home care or healthcare staffing.

  • Knowledge: Familiarity with IDPH regulations and Illinois labor laws.

  • Skills: Proficient with applicant tracking systems (ATS), Google Docs and strong interpersonal communication.

  • Education: High school diploma with relevant experience; associate or bachelor’s degree in human resources or healthcare field preferred.
