Creative Solutions in Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Human Resource Specialist to support our growing team in and around the Odessa area. This role plays a key part in fostering a supportive, compliant, and engaging work environment across our facilities. Reliability, trustworthiness, and consistent attendance are essential to success in this role, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.


Your Impact as a Human Resource Specialist

In this role, you will:

  • Accurately enter and update employee information, including new hires, pay rate changes, and terminations.

  • Review applications and resumes, assess applicant qualifications, and make recommendations to hiring managers.

  • Advise supervisors, managers, and employees on HR policies and procedures.

  • Respond to personnel and payroll-related inquiries and ensure alignment with company practices.

  • Coordinate with departments and act as a liaison to promote clear and professional communication.

  • Provide guidance on employment issues such as promotions, demotions, transfers, and more.

  • Organize and support employee engagement and recognition events in accordance with company guidelines.

  • Maintain and audit personnel files and risk management programs to ensure compliance and accuracy.

  • Assist in composing confidential correspondence, compiling reports, and preparing data for leadership.

  • Interpret and apply company policies as well as state and federal employment laws.

  • Keep all employee records well-organized and up-to-date.
