Job description

Be part of the group of workers keeping the ballpark up and running behind the scenes. Prepare and maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the baseball stadium before, during and after baseball games and other events.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with the Facility Operations Manager / Assistants in the areas of facility operations and daily ballpark operations
  • Daily cleaning of restrooms in Saints offices and service level corridor
  • Daily waste removal throughout the ballpark
  • Daily cleaning of outdoor areas (Broadway St., 4th St., concourse, bullpens, dugouts, etc.)
  • Perform set-up, tear-down, cleaning and waste removal of club level before, during and after events
  • Assist with maintenance throughout the ballpark
  • Assist Event Manager and Operations Manager/Assistants when accommodating the needs of baseball teams, coaches, and trainers
  • Assist Grounds Crew, Fan Services and Ushers as needed
  • Assist with the closing and clearing of the ballpark after the game
  • Perform cleaning and waste removal throughout ballpark before, during and after games
  • Work as parking lot attendant when needed

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Follow direction and instructions with attention to detail
  • Communicate well with coworkers and supervisors to improve efficiency
  • Ability to self-motivate and demonstrate a good work ethic while working at a consistent and sometimes fast pace
  • May require use of machinery (such as a pressure washer, floor scrubber, backpack blower etc.)
  • Available to work a full schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours during the summer months
  • Must be dependable with reliable transportation
  • Must be able to lift over 50 lbs
  • Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time in adverse weather, including rain, heat and cold (events are seldom cancelled because of weather)
  • Willingness to learn all aspects of stadium operations
