Job description

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Work with the Special Events team to convert and prepare the venue for events including, but not limited to, special event functions, national entertainment, promotional drawings and trade shows.
  • Set up and take down chairs, tables, staging, pipe-and-drape and other event-related items and equipment (requires frequent heavy lifting).
  • Assist during events with ticket taking and ushering.
  • Respond to radio requests for setup, removal or repairs.
  • Operate applicable equipment and machinery (e.g. forklift, scissor lift, etc.).
  • Clean and maintain event spaces, equipment and machinery.
  • Communicate all concerns to the Sales & Catering Manager in a timely manner.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
  • Previous experience working in Special Events or a related field preferred but not required.
  • Must possess a valid Minnesota driver's license.
