Job description

We are looking for a part-time Document Controller to provide onsite records support in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. This is a Contract position expected to run for approximately 6 months and will focus on organizing, digitizing, and maintaining important company files for the legal team and other internal partners. The person in this role will help improve access to physical and electronic records while ensuring information is accurately scanned, indexed, and retrieved as needed.


Responsibilities:

• Convert paper-based files into digital records through high-volume scanning and careful document preparation

• Classify and index files accurately within the records management system so information can be located quickly

• Respond to internal document requests by locating, retrieving, and delivering records to the appropriate teams

• Maintain orderly electronic and physical filing structures to support reliable records access and retention

• Assist with ongoing records administration activities tied to legal, HR, and pension-related documentation

• Review scanned materials for completeness and legibility before finalizing them in the system

• Coordinate with onsite departments to prioritize requests and keep document handling workflows moving efficiently

• Prior experience in document control, records coordination, or a similar records management role

• Strong accuracy and attention to detail when scanning, indexing, and organizing large volumes of files

• Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision in an onsite office environment

• Comfortable using document scanning equipment and electronic document management systems

• Solid organizational skills with the ability to handle recurring requests and shifting priorities

• Experience with records-related software is preferred

• Clear and effective communication skills for supporting internal stakeholders across multiple departments.
