Job Description
The Administrative Assistant I will support Government digital transformation initiatives by performing on-site document digitization and records support services. This role focuses on reducing reliance on paper documentation by identifying, scanning, organizing, and securely storing both unclassified and classified records in approved electronic repositories.
The position works closely with Government subject matter experts (SMEs), branch leadership, and the Government Tasking Point of Contact (TPOC) to ensure accurate, secure, and compliant digitization of legacy documentation.
Job Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience performing administrative or clerical support duties in an office environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, scan, and manage large volumes of documents accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively with Government personnel and multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Basic computer skills, including experience with file management and network drives.
  • Active Secret clearance (or ability to obtain and maintain one).
  • Must be eligible to receive and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).
  • Ability to work with classified material in accordance with Government security requirements.

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities (KSAs)
Knowledge of basic administrative and records management practices, including document handling and electronic file storage. Skill in scanning and converting paper records to digital formats, organizing and naming files, and using standard office and computer applications. Ability to accurately handle and track documents, communicate effectively with Government staff, follow written procedures, and work on-site in a secure Government environment. Ability to handle sensitive and classified information up to the SECRET level, manage time and priorities, maintain attention to detail, and adapt to changing processes and storage locations.
