Job description

Associate Director, Software Development Engineering, IQVIA Inc. Wayne, PA. May telecommute (working on EST) from anywhere in the U.S. and report electronically to the Wayne, PA work location. Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug cloud-based software programs based on business needs and requirements. Work across the complete cloud stack i.e. Software as a Service (SaaS), and/or Platform as a Service (PaaS) and/or Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS). Support the generation of technical engineering products by using the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the system development life cycle. Use the latest programming language and leading-edge technologies, write code, complete programming and perform testing and debugging of system components. Define processes for technical platforms, system specifications, input/output and working parameters for hardware and/or software compatibility. Work closely with clients and third parties on infrastructure related planning and operation. Identify, analyze, and resolve system design weaknesses and manage backup/restore operation. Requires supervisory responsibilities for software developers or related. Work M-F, 8:30 - 5:30 (EST) and overtime and weekends as needed to meet project deadlines. Salary Range: $157,702 - $263,700/year. Requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or foreign equivalent. Requires five (5) years of progressively responsible software development experience including five (5) years of experience with the following: working in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC); tuning of Procedures, Packages, SQL Statements; utilizing Stored Procedures, Triggers and Views on various databases like SQL Server, Informix, and Terra Data; utilizing Agile and Waterfall models for development; utilizing web development tools like Angular, HTML5, jQuery, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX and AngularJS; performing Web, Client Server and 3-tier applications using Microsoft .NET framework; utilizing C#, .Net, and C++ programming languages; working simultaneously on multiple priorities; three (3) years: utilizing Microsoft Business Intelligence (SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS); understanding stakeholder requirements as well as underlying infrastructure applications, systems, and processes to enable translation of requirements into usable features and functionality; utilizing MongoDB; processing claims or working with claims adjudication technology; building tools like Ant and Hudson; and utilizing Microsoft Cloud Platform, JIRA, and Confluence. The potential base pay range for this role is $157,702 - $263,700 The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time).
