Job description

Job Description: PLM Data Migration Architect

Work Location: San Jose, CA 95128

Required Qualifications:

Define the end-to-end PLM data migration architecture for enterprise transformations, with Siemens Teamcenter as the target platform.

12+ years of experience in PLM implementations with a strong focus on data migration, and deep expertise in Siemens Teamcenter. Proven experience leading large-scale, complex PLM data migrations (e.g., Agile → Teamcenter, multi-instance consolidations).

Translate business, engineering, and IT data requirements into migration strategies, and transformation rules.

Design and govern scalable, repeatable migration approaches (e.g., migration factories, rule-driven transformations, automation etc.).

Define and enforce data quality, reconciliation, and validation (pre and Post loading) strategies, including dry runs, cutover readiness, and rollback planning.

Collaborate closely with solution architects, business stakeholders, and delivery teams to ensure seamless continuity of the digital thread post-migration.

Preferred Qualifications

Leading an end-to-end Data Migration supporting Teamcenter transformation program especially movement from Agile PLM to Teamcenter Siemens Teamcenter certifications preferred Experience in industries such as Industrial Manufacturing, Automotive, Aerospace & Defense, or High-Tech Experience supporting US-based clients in large, regulated, or multi-site environments
