Job description

Overview
We are seeking an ERP Data Migration Lead to manage and execute day-to-day data migration activities for a large-scale ERP implementation centered on Microsoft Dynamics. This role is responsible for designing, building, and executing data migration work across multiple implementation phases, with direct responsibility for data scope, quality, transformation, and validation outcomes.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on data leader with deep experience executing ERP data migrations. This individual will work closely with business data owners, implementation partners, and technical teams to assess legacy data, design and implement cleansing and transformation logic, and execute repeatable migration cycles. Success in this role requires comfort working directly with large, complex datasets, resolving issues through analysis and reconciliation, and supporting phased go-lives with reliable, audit-ready data.
Key Responsibilities
• Hands-on execution of day-to-day data migration activities for a phased ERP consolidation
• Lead data migration activities across multiple legacy ERP systems and divisions
• Partner closely with:
o ERP Project Management and Functional Leads
o Implementation partner(s)
o Business data owners and SMEs
o IT architecture and integration teams
• Identify, profile, and assess legacy data sources, data quality, and data gaps
• Design and implement data normalization logic efforts across legacy ERP systems, including deduplication and cross-referencing shared master data records, to establish standardized, enterprise-wide master data records
• Define data scope, cleansing rules, transformation logic, and validation standards
• Design and manage mock conversions, test loads, reconciliations, and cutover execution activities
• Establish repeatable migration frameworks and templates to support multiple rollout phases
• Validate data accuracy, completeness, and auditability at go-live
• Support post-go-live stabilization and data issue resolution
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience executing ERP data migration efforts
• Hands-on experience migrating data between complex ERP systems
• Strong understanding of ERP data domains (e.g., customers, vendors, items, BOMs, GL, AR/AP, inventory, pricing)
• Proven ability to manage data quality, reconciliation, and validation processes
• Strong hands-on experience working with SQL, ETL tools, or data migration utilities
• Strong collaboration skills with both technical and business teams
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics data models and migration tools
• Experience supporting phased or multi-go-live ERP programs
• Familiarity with master data governance concepts
