Customer Account Manager
Location: Brownsburg, IN

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing logistics and distribution operation in Brownsburg, IN to identify a Customer Account Manager. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in logistics, supply chain, customer service, or warehouse operations who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Position Overview
The Customer Account Manager acts as the key point of contact between clients and a busy 3PL warehouse operation. This role ensures accurate execution of orders, strong customer communication, and overall service excellence. You'll collaborate cross-functionally with operations, transportation, and inventory teams to support day-to-day account needs.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Account Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts
  • Build strong relationships through proactive communication and follow-up
  • Ensure customer expectations and service requirements are clearly understood and met
  • Address and resolve customer issues quickly and professionally
Logistics & Operations Coordination
  • Coordinate daily activities including:
    • Inbound receiving
    • Inventory management
    • Order fulfillment and shipping
    • Returns processing
  • Partner closely with warehouse, transportation, and inventory teams
  • Ensure customer-specific processes and SOPs are followed accurately
Performance & Continuous Improvement
  • Monitor service levels and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies
  • Support ongoing efforts to improve customer satisfaction and account performance
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in:
    • Customer service
    • Account management
    • Logistics, warehouse, or supply chain operations
  • Experience in a 3PL, distribution center, or transportation environment strongly preferred
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced setting
