About Us: Marina Distributing is a fast-growing CPG distribution company servicing 1,600+ retail locations across Southern California. We distribute a variety of functional beverages and other emerging CPG brands through our DSD (direct store delivery) network and e-commerce channels.
Department: Sales Location: Los Angeles, CA (field-based) Type: Full-time Pay: $45,000-$55,000 base + uncapped commission (OTE $70,000-$95,000) + car/mileage allowance
The Role Own a territory in greater Los Angeles. Open new retail accounts, grow existing ones, and make our brands shine on shelf.
Requirements
What You'll Do
  • Prospect and open new accounts: gas stations, convenience, liquor, gyms, grocery
  • Manage and grow a book of existing accounts - expand SKU count, secure cooler placement, sell in promos and displays
  • Merchandise on every visit: shelf position, cold placement, POS, pricing
  • Log all activity in our CRM and route-planning tools (Badger Maps / Pipedrive)
  • Work with delivery drivers to keep accounts serviced and in stock
  • Hit monthly targets for new doors, revenue, and SKU distribution

What We're Looking For
  • 1-3+ years of field sales, DSD, beverage, or CPG sales experience strongly preferred - but we'll consider hungry, coachable people from any face-to-face sales background
  • Self-starter who's comfortable doing 15-25 store visits a day
  • Reliable vehicle, valid license, and clean driving record
  • Competitive, organized, and great with small business owners
