- Oversee daily live production operations, including broiler/breeder performance, placement, and harvest schedules
- Monitor flock health, growth rates, feed conversion, and mortality trends; implement corrective actions as needed
- Collaborate with hatchery, feed mill, and processing teams to ensure alignment across the production cycle
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contract growers
- Provide technical guidance and training to growers on best practices in poultry husbandry
- Evaluate grower performance and address performance gaps
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of field technicians and supervisors
- Set clear performance expectations and conduct regular evaluations
- Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement
- Analyze production data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Manage budgets related to live production operations, including cost control initiatives
- Drive process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste
