Job description

TFC Poultry is a family-owned business with the purpose to build a family culture for all those we influence to lead a healthy, balanced life. TFC Poultry recently expanded and opened our second poultry production plant in Winchester, Virginia, as such we're currently hiring for our Sanitation Supervisor.

The Customer Care Representative reports to the Supply Chain Coordinator and exercises a customer-first attitude in managing the day-to-day transactions and communications with our customers and our suppliers.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Embrace interfacing with customers and suppliers by facilitating relationships, resolving issues, and create memorable experiences that boost brand and customer loyalty
  • Offer an unparalleled level of service through the use of excellent follow up, friendly tones, and going the extra mile
  • Coordinate the needs and capabilities of our customers, suppliers, carriers, and operations
  • Utilize an engaging balance of written and verbal communication with customers and suppliers and listen for and then appropriately relay concerns and opportunities back to the TFC Team
  • Understand, employ, and give feedback to Purchasing and Sales on the market strategies implemented
  • Communicate logistical changes with production, warehouse, and supply chain
  • Take ownership in customer issues by identifying the appropriate response and strategy to solve as quickly as possible with a customer-first attitude
  • Manage purchase orders and sales orders based upon the production schedule
  • Back up and assist Supply Chain by booking carriers, creating appointments, and monitoring potential freight concerns
  • Carry out other administrative tasks as needed
  • Promote personal and company image throughout the community

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Customer service experience
  • Strong computer and organizational skills
