About the Role:

Kalmbach Feeds Production Manager is a highly responsible position with a primary emphasis on on-time shipments, safety and quality. Additionally, the successful candidate will assist with maintenance, process improvements, capital projects and other production related activities in conjunction with the Complex Manager. As unique situations present themselves, the selected candidate must be sensitive to customer needs, corporate goals, team member goodwill and public image.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • You are responsible for the safe, cost effective and efficient production of the manufacturing operation
  • You develop and ensure compliance with standard operating procedures
  • You monitor overall plant performance for production and quality standards
  • You provide leadership and training to all staff to accomplish company goals and objectives
  • You manage the performance of all direct reports and take appropriate steps to ensure team engagement

The Right Candidate:

  • Possess a minimum of 3 years in Manufacturing Management - Bachelors in related field, preferred
  • Demonstrate exemplary verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving ability with high attention to detail
  • Acquire high energy level and drive required to proactively execute on production management responsibilities without constant supervision
  • Exhibit excellent organizational, time management and multi-tasking ability
  • Proficient in all Windows based programs and familiar with ERP and MES Systems
  • Happy to commute to our feed manufacturing facility located in Upper Sandusky, OH
