Job description

Role ::  AI Engineer

Location : Bentonville, AR (5 days/week Onsite Only [NO REMOTE]

Rate : On C2C

JD: Client is looking to design and build LLM-powered solutions that extract actionable insights from structured CPG data sources. The goal is to automate analysis workflows, find opportunities to grow, surface trends, and enable faster decision-making for cross-functional marketing and category teams.

Scope of Work

  • Build LLM pipelines that ingest, process, and extract insights from CPG sales and market data (NIQ/Circana, 84.51°, Scintilla, SAP)
  • Develop prompt engineering frameworks and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architectures tailored to structured/tabular data
  • Create automated insight summaries, anomaly flags, and natural-language reporting outputs
  • Integrate with existing analytics infrastructure (PowerBI, SharePoint, internal data platforms)
  • Document solutions for handoff and internal team adoption

Preferred Experience

  • Strong Python development skills with production-level code quality
  • Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic/Claude) including prompt engineering, embeddings, and RAG patterns
  • Experience working with structured/tabular datasets at scale, ideally in CPG, retail, or consumer analytics
  • Familiarity with syndicated data providers (NIQ, Circana, IRI, 84.51°) is a strong plus
  • Ability to work independently, scope deliverables, and communicate progress clearly

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Azure OpenAI or enterprise LLM deployment
  • Background in CPG category management or trade analytics
  • Familiarity with PowerBI, SAP, or Microsoft ecosystem integrations
