Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated, results-driven Account Manager / CPG Sales professional to grow and manage retail and wholesale accounts for our popcorn and confectionery brands. This role is responsible for developing strong customer relationships, increasing product placement and distribution, driving sales growth, and ensuring excellent brand representation across assigned territories.
The ideal candidate has experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG) sales, established relationships within the retail food industry, and a proven ability to open doors and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with grocery stores, convenience stores, distributors, specialty retailers, and other retail partners
  • Leverage an existing book of business and industry contacts to generate new sales opportunities
  • Increase product distribution, shelf placement, and merchandising opportunities within assigned accounts
  • Present new products, promotions, and seasonal offerings to buyers and decision-makers
  • Identify and secure new retail partnerships and distribution channels
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment opportunities
  • Execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue and growth goals
  • Conduct regular store visits to ensure product visibility, compliance, and brand standards
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to support promotions, product launches, and customer initiatives
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and territory updates
  • Attend trade shows, food expos, and industry events as needed

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in CPG sales, food & beverage sales, or related retail sales experience preferred
  • Existing book of business and established buyer/distributor relationships strongly preferred
  • Experience working with grocery, convenience, club, or specialty retail channels
  • Strong network of industry contacts within retail food and snack categories
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a sales territory
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within assigned territory

  • Knowledge of snack food, popcorn, candy, or confectionery markets
