Ocean Potion is a Florida-rooted, nationally recognized sun care brand with strong retail presence in beach, resort, surf, and specialty retail channels. As part of the PTL ONE portfolio, we are expanding our footprint throughout East Coast Florida and seeking a motivated Territory Sales Representative to drive sales growth, retail distribution, and customer relationships across the region.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Outside Sales Representative, Territory Manager, Route Sales Representative, or CPG Sales Professional looking to grow with a recognized consumer brand.

Position Overview

This field-based sales role focuses on managing existing accounts, developing new business opportunities, increasing product distribution, and ensuring strong in-store merchandising execution throughout the assigned territory.

The ideal candidate is relationship-driven, highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable managing an independent sales territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow an established territory of retail, wholesale, resort, and specialty retail accounts throughout East Coast Florida.

  • Develop new business opportunities and open new customer accounts to expand brand distribution.

  • Drive territory sales growth through account development, reorders, promotional programs, and customer relationship management.

  • Conduct regular in-person sales calls and account visits.

  • Build strong relationships with store owners, buyers, managers, and retail decision-makers.

  • Ensure proper merchandising, product placement, displays, and brand presentation within retail locations.

  • Monitor inventory levels and partner with customers to maintain consistent product availability.

  • Execute territory planning and route management activities to maximize sales opportunities.

  • Track customer activity, sales performance, account updates, and opportunities using CRM and company systems.

  • Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities.

  • Collaborate with leadership to achieve sales objectives and territory expansion goals.

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in outside sales, territory sales, route sales, field sales, account management, or DSD sales.

  • Proven ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.

  • Strong business development and new account acquisition skills.

  • Experience managing a sales territory and working independently.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.

  • Self-motivated with a disciplined and results-oriented mindset.

  • Familiarity with the East Coast Florida market preferred.
