Production Manager
We are looking for a detail-oriented and dynamic Production Manager to join our well-established organization in millwork and wood component manufacturing. As the Production Manager, you will be responsible for consistently and effectively communicating with multiple departments and department supervisors to convey any fabrication or potential installation challenges. You will also be responsible for ensuring millwork shop drawings are correct and workable, do take offs and prep for production while ensuring production is completed safely, efficiently, and in a timely manner.
Job Type: Full Time, On-site
Responsibilities for the Production Manager:
  • Manage and oversee the production process from raw materials to finished product
  • Monitor and control quality standards to ensure finished products meet or exceed customer expectations
  • Perform detailed reviews of blueprints and shop drawings prior to production
  • Manage and control costs while maintaining the highest level of product quality
  • Train, supervise, and evaluate production staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively.
  • Conduct regular production reviews and assessments to identify areas for improvement
  • Manage and control production costs while ensuring quality standards are maintained
  • Develop and implement production procedures and processes to ensure that the production process runs smoothly and efficiently
  • Continuously monitor production processes to ensure they meet customer expectations and satisfaction levels.
Requirements of the Production Manager:
  • Minimum 3-5+ years of Production/Shop Manager experience in millwork/wood components
  • Skilled at reading and reviewing blueprints and architectural drawings
  • Proficient in Building Materials, Millwork, Windows, and Doors
  • Proven work experience as a manager
  • Solid understanding of CNC operations and programming
  • Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
