They operate as the operational core behind modern brands—guiding products from early concepts through commercialization and long-term scale.


About the Role


The Manager, Client Operations serves as the primary liaison between assigned client brands and internal teams, ensuring seamless execution of projects from concept through commercialization. You’re a strategic partner to clients and are responsible for compilation of end-to-end cost management. This role focuses on relationship management, cross-functional coordination, and operational excellence.


Responsibilities


  • Client Relationship Management
  • You’re the main point of contact for assigned client brands, fostering strong, collaborative, and long-term relationships.
  • Serve as the trusted internal advocate for the client, ensuring goals, timelines, and expectations are clearly communicated and met.
  • Lead regular client meetings, status updates, and project reviews.
  • Travel as necessary to interact and support assigned clients at their location.
  • Project & Product Integration
  • Manage end-to-end execution of client programs from initial briefing through formulation, packaging integration, scale-up, and production.
  • Coordinate product development activities including formula development, testing, validation, and commercialization milestones.
  • Manage Costing process from target costing all the way through final actual costing.
  • Ensure packaging components, artwork, and specifications align with regulatory and manufacturing requirements.
  • Identify and pursue growth opportunities such as new items, expanded assortment, and seasonal programs.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Partner with Product Development, Packaging Engineering, Regulatory, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations teams.
  • Translate client requests into clear internal documentation, timelines, and action plans.
  • Documentation & Process Management
  • Maintain accurate project documentation including briefs, specifications, timelines, and approvals.
  • Ensure accurate execution of new item set-ups, pricing updates, and promotional entries.
  • Support costing reviews and forecasts in collaboration with internal teams.




Qualifications


  • Proven experience as lead in customer relationship executional management for 10+ years. Preferably in the beauty, health or personal care industries.
  • Ability to manage multiple brands/projects simultaneously.
  • Deep expertise in timeline management, cross-functional execution, and launch delivery.
  • Strong client facing presence with the ability to influence, guide and challenge when needed.
