ENGINEERING A FRAMEWORK OF EXCELLENCE.
BEHIND EVERY DOOR THAT WORKS IS A PARTS OPERATION THAT NEVER MISSES.
That's the standard you'll build and protect.
DuraServ is looking for an operations leader who builds systems, manages people, and owns the full distribution function from receiving dock to customer delivery.
Operations Manager — Private Label Distribution | Operations. Inventory. Customer Excellence.
DuraServ — Blanchard, OK (Greater Oklahoma City Area) | On-Site Role | 15% Travel
This Is Where the Supply Chain Meets the Service Promise.
DuraServ's Private Label Distribution operation in Blanchard, Oklahoma is the parts engine that keeps service teams and customers running across the country. Every part that ships, every BOM that gets engineered, every account that stays current — it flows through this facility. When it runs right, nobody notices. When it doesn't, everyone does.
As Operations Manager, you are the architect of how this facility functions — overseeing distribution center operations, managing inventory accuracy, engineering Bills of Materials, supporting key customer accounts, coordinating inbound and outbound logistics, and leading the warehouse team to a standard of operational excellence that DuraServ's field organization depends on.
If you're the kind of leader who builds processes that outlast your direct involvement — and you're ready to own a distribution operation end to end — this role was built for you.
What You'll Own
The Operation
- Oversee day-to-day distribution center operations — receiving, warehousing, order fulfillment, shipping, and fleet maintenance — to the standard DuraServ's customers expect
- Manage all inbound and outbound shipments with logistics vendors, holding carriers to DuraServ's delivery and quality standards and proactively communicating issues to customers
- Coordinate scheduling of all work vehicle maintenance and keep motor vehicle registrations and inspections current across the fleet
- Work with purchasing to forecast stock needs for large upcoming jobs, ensuring inventory levels support demand without unnecessary carrying cost
The Accuracy
- Oversee all Bills of Materials being built — engineering BOMs with precision to ensure inventory accuracy, minimize risk, and support correct customer orders
- Stay current on supplier and manufacturer product updates, translating that knowledge into accurate inventory management and informed customer guidance
- Maintain operational discipline using ERP software (AccountMate) and Microsoft Office 365 — your data reflects reality, your records are audit-ready
The Relationships
- Serve as the lead sales and relationship manager for key accounts — deepening existing customer relationships through direct outreach, client entertainment, and proactive discovery of additional needs; conduct outbound outreach on leads provided by customers and suppliers to qualify opportunities and build the account base
- Participate in weekly meetings with the Vice President of Private Label Distribution to manage collections on past-due accounts and report on operational performance
- Build effective working relationships across warehouse staff and internal departments — you set the tone for how this facility functions and how the team performs
Who You Are
You don't manage chaos — you eliminate it. You build the systems, the habits, and the standards that keep an operation running smoothly before problems surface.
- An operational thinker — you see inefficiency as a problem to solve, not a condition to manage; you build processes that create consistency and scale
- Detail-oriented by nature — BOM accuracy, inventory records, shipping documentation, and customer commitments all reflect the same standard: correct, complete, and on time
- A capable people leader — you manage warehouse staff with clear expectations, accountability, and the coaching instincts to develop the team around you
- Relationship-driven — you build trust with customers and suppliers over time, follow up on warm leads with genuine curiosity about their needs, and know that lunch is part of the job when it deepens a partnership worth keeping
- Technically proficient — working knowledge of ERP systems (AccountMate experience preferred), Microsoft Office 365, and overhead door or industrial parts distribution is a genuine advantage
- Composed under pressure — when shipments are late, inventory is off, or a customer has a problem, you solve it with urgency and communicate with clarity
What We're Looking For
Required
- 5+ years of combined experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment, with demonstrated leadership responsibility
- Working knowledge of ERP systems and inventory management practices — AccountMate experience is preferred; equivalent ERP background considered
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 for reporting, documentation, and operational communication
- Experience managing inbound and outbound logistics, vendor relationships, and shipping coordination
- Valid driver's license — fleet oversight and 15% travel are part of this role
Preferred
- High School diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
- Background in overhead door, dock equipment, or industrial parts distribution — familiarity with the product line is a meaningful advantage
- Experience engineering Bills of Materials and troubleshooting installation issues for customers
What's in It for You
- Competitive compensation commensurate with experience
- Full benefits package: medical, dental, vision, and 401K with company match
- Company-provided life insurance, short-term and long-term disability
- A facility and team to lead — with the authority to build it to your standard
- Direct reporting line to the Vice President of Private Label Distribution — your work has visibility
- Stable, growing national company with the backing of an established corporate infrastructure
A Note to the Right Candidate.
If you've been running a warehouse or distribution operation and the system works because of the standards you built — not just because you're there every day making it work — this is your kind of role.
DuraServ's Private Label Distribution facility needs a leader who thinks in systems, acts with precision, and holds the team to the same standard they hold themselves.
Engineering a framework of excellence. That's not a tagline here — it's the job description.
