Sous la supervision du Directeur ou de la Directrice de groupe, Operations clients, le ou la titulaire du poste de Superviseur, Operations financieres - Clients dirige une equipe responsable de la sante financiere et de la rigueur operationnelle des comptes clients.
Ce role se situe a la jonction des Finances et des Operations clients : il allie une supervision pratique de la facturation, de la conciliation et de l'escalade au sein de l'equipe, a un mandat grandissant visant a batir, normaliser et ameliorer en continu les processus operationnels qui soutiennent la fonction Operations dans son ensemble.
Responsabilites principales
1. Leadership d'equipe et supervision des finances clients
Superviser, former et encadrer une equipe responsable de l'analyse des facturables et de la preparation des sommaires de facturation
Agir comme principal point d'escalade pour l'equipe concernant les enjeux de facturation, de conciliation et de finances clients
Etablir les priorites, repartir la charge de travail et assurer le respect des normes de qualite et des echeances au sein de l'equipe
2. Conciliation des factures de fournisseurs et controles financiers
Superviser et suivre la conciliation mensuelle des factures de fournisseurs pour l'ensemble des comptes de l'agence, en veillant a ce que les ecarts soient reperes et resolus rapidement par l'equipe de conciliation
Superviser les fonctions de comptes payables et comptes recevables liees a la facturation client
Appuyer les processus de cloture mensuelle et annuelle
Maintenir des controles internes rigoureux et assurer la preparation aux audits
Repondre aux demandes des employes et des fournisseurs concernant les paiements et les transactions financieres
3. Developpement des processus, gestion du changement et amelioration continue
Apprendre, documenter et ameliorer en continu les processus financiers et operationnels lies aux clients
Elaborer, mettre a jour et maintenir la documentation de processus, les guides de flux de travail, les matrices RACI et les cheminements d'escalade pour les operations financieres clients
Reperer les goulots d'etranglement dans les processus de facturation, de conciliation et de reddition de comptes, et diriger la mise en uvre d'ameliorations
Collaborer avec les equipes Finances, Planification, Activation et Analytique en matiere d'application des processus, de gestion du changement et d'adoption
Contribuer aux revisions annuelles des guides clients (playbooks) et de la documentation des processus financiers
4. Integration, transitions et gestion des escalades
Appuyer l'integration financiere et operationnelle des nouveaux clients, des nouveaux mandats et des nouveaux membres de l'equipe
Coordonner les listes de verification liees a la facturation et aux finances avec les equipes Finances, Juridique, Gestion de projets et comptes clients
Qualifications requises
3 a 5 annees d'experience ou plus en operations financieres, operations clients, operations d'agence ou operations d'affaires (l'experience en agence media est fortement souhaitee)
Experience demontree en supervision, formation ou encadrement d'une equipe
Solide comprehension de la facturation, de la conciliation, des comptes payables/recevables et des processus de cloture mensuelle
Experience dans le soutien a la documentation de processus, a la conception de flux de travail ou a des initiatives d'amelioration continue
Forte aptitude a apprendre de nouvelles technologies et plateformes; aime les defis et excelle en resolution de problemes
Competences avancees en Excel requises (VLOOKUP, tableaux croises dynamiques); macros/VBA un atout
Grand souci du detail et fort accent sur le controle de la qualite
A l'aise avec la preparation et la presentation de documents destines a la haute direction

Role Summary
Reporting to the Group Director, Client Operations, the Supervisor, Client Finance Operations leads a team responsible for the financial health and operational accuracy of client accounts.
This role sits at the intersection of Finance and Client Operations, combining hands-on oversight of billing, reconciliation, and team escalation with a growing mandate to build, standardize, and continuously improve the operational processes that support the broader Operations function.
Core Responsibilities
1. Team Leadership & Client Finance Oversight
Supervise, train, and mentor a team responsible for billables analysis and billing summary preparation
Act as the primary point of escalation for the team on billing, reconciliation, and client finance issues
Set priorities, manage workload distribution, and monitor quality standards and deadlines across the team
2. Vendor Invoice Reconciliation & Financial Controls
Monitor and oversee monthly vendor invoice reconciliation across agency accounts, ensuring discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly by the reconciliation team
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as they relate to client billing
Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
Maintain strong internal controls and ensure audit readiness
Address employee and vendor inquiries regarding payment and financial transactions
3. Process Development, Change Management & Continuous Improvement
Learn, document, and continuously improve client finance and operational processes
Build, update, and maintain process documentation, workflow guides, RACIs, and escalation paths for client finance operations
Identify bottlenecks in billing, reconciliation, and reporting workflows and lead the implementation of process improvements
Partner with Finance, Planning, Activation, and Analytics teams on process application, change management, and adoption
Support annual reviews of client playbooks and financial process documentation
4. Onboarding, Transitions & Escalation Management
Support the financial and operational onboarding of new clients, scopes of work, and team members
Coordinate billing and finance setup checklists across Finance, Legal, Project Management, and account teams
Qualifications
3 to 5+ years of experience in finance operations, client operations, agency operations, or business operations (media agency experience strongly preferred)
Demonstrated experience supervising, training, or mentoring a team
Strong understanding of billing, reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable, and month-end close processes
Experience supporting process documentation, workflow design, or process improvement initiatives
Strong aptitude for learning new technology and platforms; loves challenges and excels at problem-solving
Advanced Excel skills required (VLOOKUP, pivot tables); macros/VBA an asset
High attention to detail with a strong quality control focus
Comfortable preparing and presenting materials for senior leadership review
