Job description

SENIOR OPERATIONS ANALYSTMONTREAL PLANT | ON-SITE ROLE FIVE DAYS A WEEK
ABOUT YOU:
This role is responsible for analyzing and monitoring production costs to drive operational efficiency and profitability within a manufacturing environment. The Business Operations Analyst partners closely with plant leadership to deliver accurate product costing, maintain reliable inventory tracking, and generate actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making. The role plays a key part in improving processes, ensuring inventory accuracy, and aligning plant operations with broader business objectives.
YOU WILL:
  • Own Product Costing and Analysis
    • ​Develop product costs by sku, including Bill of Material (BOM)
    • Implement numbering system for product skus to track product through the facility and shipped out of the facility
    • Partner with plant management and finance to have informative reports on plant costing
  • Develop/Maintain Perpetual Inventory Tracking and Analytics
    • Demand Planning Analytics
    • Record inventory received into facility
    • Tracking of product shipped out of the facility, including automation enhancements
    • Support physical inventories
  • Drive Process Improvements
    • Identify process inefficiencies and lead data-driven improvement initiatives to reduce waste and optimize performance
    • Ensure data integrity across systems to enable accurate financial and operational analysis
YOU HAVE:
  • Education. Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Experience. 7+ years of product costing experience
  • Lean amp; Continuous Improvement Knowledge. Proven success with innovative process improvements, including a passion for forward-thinking in a global environment
  • Excel Proficiency. Data driven and detail oriented and high proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Financial Acumen. Knowledge of budgeting and cost accounting principles.
  • Analytical Problem-Solving Skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including customer-centric collaboration with others.
  • Execution Agility. Ability to plan, organize and see projects to completion while managing deadlines. Strong time management/organization skills – the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks.
  • Professional Communication Skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with all levels in the organization (English proficiency).
