This role requires a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on leadership.

Description

As Senior Manager, Manufacturing Operations, you will lead production teams through a period of significant transformation.

You will oversee approximately 150 employees, including first-line managers, and be accountable for operational performance, process excellence, and team capability development.

You will act as a change agent, implementing Lean principles and building scalable systems that improve efficiency and flow.

Responsibilities

  • Lead manufacturing transformation initiatives aligned with Lean principles.
  • Identify and implement process improvements across safety, quality, delivery, cost and engagement.
  • Maintain strong floor presence to understand operational challenges.
  • Develop and mentor leadership teams.
  • Establish a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Manage labor relations in a unionized environment.
  • Implement structured daily management routines.
  • Use data to drive decision-making.
  • Ensure effective use of manufacturing systems (ERP, MES).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 8+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing.
  • Experience in operational transformation or continuous improvement.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles.
  • Experience with manufacturing systems (ERP, MES).
