Senior Product Operations Manager

 

Location: Quebec, Canada, - Hybrid or In-office

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Bentley Open Applications Division COO, the Senior Product Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in enabling high‑performing, empowered product teams.  This role partners closely with division leaders, product managers, and development managers to shape and scale best‑practice ways of working across the product lifecycle.

This is a highly influential individual contributor role where you will combine hands‑on coaching with organizational-level impact.  You’ll help teams deliver meaningful value while also supporting the broader product organization to scale effectively through thoughtful processes, frameworks, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate is experienced in working with cross‑functional product teams, excels at coaching and facilitation, and is comfortable leading change in complex, evolving environments.


Responsibilities:

  • Partner with cross‑functional product teams to identify opportunities to improve ways of working and support teams in implementing sustainable change.
  • Surface actionable insights and recommendations from “on the ground” observations to leadership to drive organization-wide improvements.
  • Design and implement lightweight frameworks, guidelines, and processes that improve effectiveness and efficiency (with a strong “minimum viable process” mindset).
  • Scale empowered, agile ways of working across multiple teams by sharing insights, patterns, and best practices in impactful ways.
  • Ensure teams are using product and delivery tooling effectively to promote transparency, alignment, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Provide hands‑on coaching, training, and facilitation to product teams and leaders as needed.
  • Support teams and leaders with OKR planning, decision-making, and outcome measurement.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement and support the adoption of practices that enable learning and adaptability.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience working with cross‑functional product teams.
  • Background in product operations or similar roles; experience as a Product Manager, Engineer, or Designer is a strong plus.
  • Comfort with product and delivery tooling (experience with Aha! and/or Azure DevOps is a bonus).
  • Strong facilitation skills, including experience with conflict resolution, group dynamics, and working across diverse personality styles.
  • Ability to observe team dynamics objectively and provide thoughtful, constructive, and sometimes challenging feedback.
  • Proven experience driving cultural and behavioral change through agile mindsets and best‑practice adoption.
  • Natural connector who can synthesize diverse inputs, align stakeholders, and help teams find a clear path forward.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to positively influence teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to thrive in fast‑paced, evolving environments.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure engineering and SaaS product organizations is a plus.

Vous aiderez les équipes à fournir une valeur significative tout en soutenant l'organisation globale des produits pour qu'elle évolue efficacement grâce à des processus, des cadres de travail réfléchis et une amélioration continue.

Le ou la candidat(e) idéal(e) possède de l'expérience de travail avec des équipes de produits interfonctionnelles, excelle dans l'encadrement et la facilitation, et est à l'aise pour mener le changement dans des environnements complexes et en évolution.

Responsabilités :

  • Collaborer avec des équipes de produits interfonctionnelles pour identifier les opportunités d'amélioration des méthodes de travail et soutenir les équipes dans la mise en œuvre de changements durables.
  • Faire part à la direction d'idées et de recommandations exploitables issues d'observations « sur le terrain » afin de stimuler les améliorations à l'échelle de l'organisation.
  • Concevoir et mettre en œuvre des cadres de travail, des directives et des processus légers qui améliorent l'efficacité et le rendement (avec une forte mentalité de « processus minimum viable »).
  • Mettre à l'échelle des méthodes de travail responsabilisées et agiles dans plusieurs équipes en partageant les idées, les modèles et les meilleures pratiques de manière percutante.
  • S'assurer que les équipes utilisent efficacement les outils de produit et de livraison pour promouvoir la transparence, l'alignement et des résultats commerciaux mesurables.
  • Offrir un encadrement pratique, de la formation et de la facilitation aux équipes de produits et aux dirigeants, selon les besoins.
  • Soutenir les équipes et les dirigeants dans la planification des OKR (objectifs et résultats clés), la prise de décision et la mesure des résultats.
  • Promouvoir une culture d'amélioration continue et soutenir l'adoption de pratiques qui favorisent l'apprentissage et l'adaptabilité.

Qualifications :

  • Plus de 5 ans d'expérience pratique au sein d'équipes de produits interfonctionnelles.
  • Expérience dans les opérations de produit ou dans des rôles similaires; une expérience en tant que gestionnaire de produit, ingénieur(e) ou concepteur/conceptrice est un atout majeur.
  • Aisance avec les outils de produit et de livraison (une expérience avec Aha! et/ou Azure DevOps est un atout).
