Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the executive leadership team, you will lead the company's long-term growth strategy, corporate development initiatives, investment activities and strategic partnerships. This role sits at the heart of the organisation, combining strategic leadership with hands-on execution across project finance, M&A, capital raising and renewable infrastructure development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the company's long-term growth and investment strategy.
  • Lead infrastructure financing initiatives, including project finance, tax equity, debt and private capital solutions.
  • Identify, evaluate and execute mergers, acquisitions and strategic investment opportunities.
  • Build and manage relationships with institutional investors, infrastructure funds, financial institutions and strategic partners.
  • Oversee joint venture strategy and governance while supporting long-term enterprise value creation.
  • Drive commercial strategies to maximise the value of renewable natural gas and environmental commodity portfolios.
  • Evaluate new market opportunities, carbon reduction initiatives and low-carbon fuel strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with executive leadership across operations, finance and commercial functions to prioritise growth opportunities and support business planning.
  • Present strategic recommendations and investment opportunities to senior leadership and the Board.

About You

We're looking for an accomplished executive with a proven track record in infrastructure investment, corporate development or strategic finance within the energy sector.

You will bring:

  • 12+ years of senior leadership experience in infrastructure private equity, investment banking, corporate development, strategy consulting or renewable energy.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex project finance transactions, acquisitions and strategic investments.
  • Strong commercial understanding of renewable energy, biofuels, RNG or other low-carbon infrastructure markets.
  • Experience working with institutional investors, private equity, lenders and strategic partners.
  • Excellent financial modelling, commercial negotiation and transaction execution skills.
  • Knowledge of environmental markets, carbon intensity programmes, LCFS, RINs or similar regulatory frameworks would be highly advantageous.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering or a related discipline. An MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is preferred.

Why Apply?

This is an outstanding opportunity to join a business at the forefront of the renewable energy transition, playing a key role in shaping its long-term strategy, capital investment programme and future growth. You'll work alongside an experienced executive leadership team while helping to deliver major infrastructure projects and create lasting value within one of the fastest-growing sectors in clean energy.
