WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, responsible for leading the financial strategy, planning, and management across all business units: the Hotel, Event Center, Country Club. Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, the CFO provides financial leadership and discipline to support the company's strategic initiatives, long-term growth, and profitability. This role oversees the Finance Team and is accountable for budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, internal controls, audit compliance, and capital planning.
Key Responsibilitie
  • Financial Leadership & Strategy
    • Lead the development and execution of financial strategies to support company-wide goals, including multi-year planning, capital investment, and risk management.
    • Partner with the CSO and executive leadership to align financial planning with organizational strategy and business transformation initiatives.
    • Provide insight and recommendations on operational performance, strategic investments, pricing models, and margin improvement.
  • Financial Operations Oversight
    • Oversee all core finance functions including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and treasury.
    • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual performance summaries.
    • Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with financial regulations and audit standards.
    • Responsible for tax filing compliance including timely and accurate year end supporting schedules and documents for tax return filings.
  • Business Unit Financial Support
    • Lead financial oversight and support for the Hotel, Event Center, and Country Club operations.
    • Collaborate with general managers and operational leads to evaluate P&L performance, labor modeling, and revenue/cost efficiencies.
    • Deliver actionable financial insights to drive profitability and informed decision-making at the unit level.
  • Capital & Asset Management
    • Manager capital planning, debt structuring, and investment prioritization aligned with strategic growth and ROI targets.
    • Oversee fixed asset tracking, depreciation, and long-range financial modeling for facility enhancements and infrastructure projects.
  • Team Leadership & Development
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Finance Team with a strong focus on collaboration, accuracy, and business partnership.
    • Promote a culture of financial transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
    • Partner cross-functionally with all departments.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (MBA or CPA designation strongly preferred).
  • 6+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, ideally in hospitality, real estate, or multi-unit business environments.
  • Deep understanding of hotel and club accounting principles, revenue modeling, and capital-intensive operations is preferred.
  • Proficiency in financial systems, business intelligence tools, and financial planning software.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Experience leading financial teams in a complex, service-oriented organization.
