Morrison Healthcare is seeking a talented and motivated Sous Chef to join our culinary leadership team in Jacksonville, FL.

This is an excellent opportunity to be part of one of Morrison's premier healthcare operations. Our Downtown Jacksonville campus supports two hospitals, four retail dining locations, catering services, elevated culinary execution, and a three-week patient menu cycle. We are committed to developing future leaders and building a strong culture centered on teamwork, accountability, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support daily culinary operations for patient dining, retail, and catering services
  • Lead, coach, and develop culinary associates
  • Ensure food quality, presentation, consistency, and portion control standards are met
  • Assist with inventory management, ordering, receiving, and food cost controls
  • Maintain compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards
  • Partner with leadership to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement
  • Support menu execution, station development, and special events
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of culinary leadership experience as a Sous Chef, Executive Sous Chef, Chef Manager, or similar role
  • Experience in healthcare, senior living, higher education, hotels, corporate dining, or other high-volume foodservice environments preferred
  • Strong knowledge of food production, inventory management, ordering, and food safety practices
  • Experience leading and developing culinary teams
  • ServSafe Certification preferred
  • Culinary degree preferred but not required
