The Territory Manager - Channel Development is responsible for building and managing relationships with manufacturers' representative agencies across the National Electrical Distribution channel, driving rep enablement, branch activation, and revenue growth for Kohler Generators.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with manufacturers' representative agencies as the primary point of contact for engagement, performance, and accountability

  • Lead rep onboarding, product training, and go-to-market alignment to drive rapid ramp-up and market activation

  • Conduct field visits, joint calls, and branch-level events including counter days, lunch-and-learns, and trade shows

  • Lead monthly performance reviews with rep partners, identifying gaps and developing action plans to accelerate growth

  • Collaborate with National Account Managers to execute national account strategies at the branch level

  • Partner with internal Rehlko teams across marketing, sales, supply chain, and operations to ensure seamless execution

  • Maintain accurate CRM records of rep activity, performance metrics, and customer engagement to inform strategy

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in sales, training, or account management. (3+ years of experience preferred)

  • Demonstrated technical aptitude with a complex or technical product (electrical, automotive, medical equipment, or similar); ability to learn and confidently present generator products

  • Comfortable presenting and training in front of groups both in-person and virtually

  • Strong communication skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making

  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a remote, field-based environment; thrives in a high-activity role requiring consistent outreach and partner engagement

  • Prior experience working with or as a manufacturers' representative agency or within the electrical distribution channel preferred.

Travel
  • Must possess the ability to travel 50-70% of the time.

The Salary range for this position is $89,800.00-$114,100.00.The specific Salary rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location.
