POSITION OVERVIEW

The Director of Post-Acute Sales & Channel Development at AliMed will serve as a strategic leader responsible for spearheading the organization's growth and presence within the post-acute healthcare sector. This pivotal role requires a visionary professional who will drive the development of business relationships and revenue streams across skilled nursing facilities, nursing homes, assisted living centers, long-term acute care facilities, and a network of local dealers and providers.

POSITION PURPOSE

This position is designed for a proactive, entrepreneurial leader who will cultivate, manage, and expand a contract sales employee network. The Sales Director will work collaboratively with internal teams to provide actionable market insights, influence product development, and guide marketing strategies, ultimately supporting the sustained growth of AliMed's business in the long-term care market.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive sales growth of AliMed's clinical and rehabilitation product portfolio through direct customer engagement, dealer partners, distributors, and contract sales representatives.
  • Design, implement, and oversee a scalable contract sales network dedicated to the post-acute market, ensuring optimal coverage of skilled nursing, assisted living, long-term acute care, and related segments.
  • Establish and nurture high-value relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate accounts, local dealers, and healthcare providers, to maximize customer engagement and business development opportunities.
  • Serve as a key liaison to marketing, providing continuous and strategic feedback regarding product performance, market trends, competitive activity, pricing, and contract needs to inform campaign development and product positioning.
  • Lead initiatives to identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the post-acute segment, leveraging an in-depth understanding of the sector's unique challenges and requirements.
  • Monitor industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging trends to proactively adapt strategies, ensuring AliMed remains at the forefront of the post-acute marketplace.
  • Develop, track, and report on sales plans, forecasts, and performance metrics, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and consistent delivery of results.
  • Champion a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and customer-centricity within the contract sales employee network and across all collaborative efforts.

EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline is required; MBA is preferred
  • Experience selling clinical, rehabilitation, medical equipment, DME, patient-care, or healthcare products into post-acute care settings, including skilled nursing, assisted living, rehabilitation, and long-term care organizations.
  • Proven success working within dealer, distributor, or contract sales channel models strongly preferred.
  • Significant leadership experience in sales, with a demonstrated track record in the post-acute sector.
  • Proven expertise in developing and managing corporate accounts and driving new business development initiatives.
  • Experience building and leading contract sales teams or employee networks is strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to analyze markets, adapt to industry dynamics, and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a talent for influencing and building consensus among diverse stakeholders.
