We're growing our Business Development team and are looking for motivated
individuals who enjoy talking to people, overcoming challenges, and earning
performance-based bonuses.
About the Role
As a Business Development Rep, you'll be the first point of contact for prospective
clients. Your primary responsibility is to engage business owners and executives,
identify whether government contracting could benefit their business, and schedule
qualified appointments with our Senior Advisors.
This is a high-energy outbound phone position designed for individuals who are
competitive, coachable, and motivated by performance.
No prior government contracting experience is required—we provide comprehensive
training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contact potential clients via phone and email to schedule appointments.
- Provide information about our services and answer initial inquiries.
- Maintain an organized schedule and ensure timely follow-ups.
- Update and manage client information in our CRM system.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure seamless client interactions
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in outbound sales, appointment setting, SDR, BDR,
telemarketing, or inside sales.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable speaking with executives and business owners.
- Positive attitude with the ability to handle rejection.
- Competitive mindset and desire to exceed goals.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn CRM software.
