Business Development Center (BDC) Representative - Service Department Are you a people person who thrives on helping customers, staying organized, and keeping things running smoothly? Carlock Automotive Group is looking for a friendly, motivated, and detail-oriented Business Development Center (BDC) Representative to join our Service team.In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for service customers-answering inbound calls, assisting with questions, and scheduling appointments that help create a seamless service experience. If you enjoy fast-paced environments, strong teamwork, and delivering top-tier customer care, this could be a great fit.What You'll Do
  • Answer inbound service calls with professionalism and enthusiasm
  • Build strong relationships with customers and create a positive first impression
  • Identify customer needs and schedule service appointments efficiently
  • Make outbound calls to existing customers to support retention and appointment setting
  • Help address customer questions before their appointment, including timing, estimated costs, and general service concerns
  • Confirm upcoming appointments and help ensure customers are prepared for their visit
  • Work closely with the BDC Director, Service Advisors, Service Managers, and support staff to deliver a smooth customer experience

What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous customer service experience required; call center or appointment-setting experience is a plus
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent phone presence and interpersonal skills
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Good follow-up habits and attention to detail

Schedule
  • Department hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
  • Saturday availability is required
  • Off on major holidays
  • We are located off 5th Av & Union St downtown Nashville (parking is included)
