Responsibilities
  • Build, train, and direct our growing Business Development Department
  • Hands-on management of team members with a major focus on recruiting, training, and mentoring the team
  • Manage all aspects of the department including handling Internet leads, inbound phone calls, and customer retention, for both sales and service
  • Maintain and increase ROI levels set by the company
  • Ensure that Call Center department metrics and goals are met or exceeded in relation to appointments set, appointments (show and sold) for internet and inbound phone leads
  • Measure and maintain performance levels set by the company
  • Compile all necessary reports on a timely basis
  • Manage employee schedules and time clock reporting for payroll
  • Effectively utilize CRM and lead management tools
  • Be knowledgeable about sales process, business philosophy, and products
Requirements
  • Automotive BDC or Sales experience is preferred
  • BDC experience required
  • An energetic and outgoing "people person" who is motivated to succeed
  • Energetic and thrives in a fast-paced team environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Good customer service, communication, and computer skills
