This role is not for beginners, "almost ready" candidates, or managers who need constant supervision.


Hughes Honda is seeking a BDC Manager who has already run a high-performance operation and can prove it. If you don't know your KPI's, this won't be a fit.


Do NOT Apply If:


  • You've never directly managed a dealership BDC
  • You can't speak confidently about appointment set%, show% and sold %
  • You struggle with accountability, metrics or coaching underperformers to success.
  • You believe "follow-up" means a few emails and a phone call or two.


This Job IS For You If:


  • You've built or rebuilt a BDC and own the results
  • You expect fast response times, structured follow-up and discipline
  • You are very comfortable having your performance measured - and measuring others' - daily
  • You treat social media and digital communication as traffic generators, not marketing fluff
  • You know how to turn leads into kept appointments and sold units


Non-Negotiable Expectations:


  • Lead response times measured in minutes, not hours.
  • Structured call, text, email and social follow-up processes
  • Daily KPI tracking and performance coaching
  • Tight CRM control - no orphan leads and no lazy notes
  • Active use of social media and basic media creation (posts, short videos, promotions, etc.) to support lead flow
  • Seamless coordination with sales management - no excuses, no finger-pointing

  • Automotive BDC management experience required
  • Strong leadership, communication and computer skills

  • Competitive, organized and relentless about execution
