Job description

BDC Manager - Proven Leader Only

This role is not for beginners, "almost ready" candidates, or managers who need constant supervision.

Hughes Honda is seeking a BDC Manager who has already run a high-performance operation and can prove it. If you don't know your KPI's, this won't be a fit.

Do NOT Apply If:

  • You've never directly managed a dealership BDC
  • You can't speak confidently about appointment set%, show% and sold %
  • You struggle with accountability, metrics or coaching underperformers to success.
  • You believe "follow-up" means a few emails and a phone call or two.

This Job IS For You If:

  • You've built or rebuilt a BDC and own the results
  • You expect fast response times, structured follow-up and discipline
  • You are very comfortable having your performance measured - and measuring others' - daily
  • You treat social media and digital communication as traffic generators, not marketing fluff
  • You know how to turn leads into kept appointments and sold units

Non-Negotiable Expectations:

  • Lead response times measured in minutes, not hours.
  • Structured call, text, email and social follow-up processes
  • Daily KPI tracking and performance coaching
  • Tight CRM control - no orphan leads and no lazy notes
  • Active use of social media and basic media creation (posts, short videos, promotions, etc.) to support lead flow
  • Seamless coordination with sales management - no excuses, no finger-pointing

Requirements:

  • Automotive BDC management experience required
  • Strong leadership, communication and computer skills
  • High comfort level with CRM's, digital tools and online customer engagement
  • Competitive, organized and relentless about execution

What We Offer:

  • A strong Honda brand and well established dealership
  • Leadership that values performance
  • The opportunity to own and shape the BDC - or be exposed if you can't
